Ski touring
ski de randonnée
The ski touring is the best way to discover high montains during the winter. Skins under the skis, a nice ascent with a marvellous overview, for a long and technical descent in virgin snow. There are many tours of several days like Chamonix – Zermatt, Grand-Paradis, Oberland bernois…

In April and May, the Mont Blanc and the Grand Combin can be done on skis.

Oisans/ Thabor / Mont Cenis Area
Oisans
The Oisans area is characterized by its wild aspect and to be close to nature. It is a real disconnection from "real-life" filling you up with authenticity. People of this area tend to define their mountains as "true Alps".
It would be a pleasur to show you that area while touring, for example:

Vanoise / Tarentaise / Maurienne Areas
Vanoise Tarentaise
Wild but accessible areas by definition, the Vanoise, Tarentaise and Haute-Maurienne offer an incredible variaty of tours. From very easy to  rather difficult. Refuges are very nice and most of the time you can find everything you need to spend the night even if the refuge is not guarded.

Few suggestions :
  • Incursion in Tarentaise.
  • Border jumping.
  • Haute-Maurienne.

Through the Queyras
